Terms of Service
Effective date: August 27, 2026 · Version 2026-08-27
These terms apply to your use of BundleProof. Please read the safety section — it explains what BundleProof can and cannot tell you about product recalls. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
1. What BundleProof is
BundleProof helps you keep records of the baby gear your family owns — brand, product name, category, model number, date code, lot number, purchase and expiration dates, and your own notes — and compares those records against official recall notices that BundleProof has recorded.
BundleProof is early-stage software in a closed beta. Features may change, be added, be modified, be interrupted, or be discontinued. Availability is not guaranteed, and the service may be unavailable for maintenance, for technical reasons, or without notice.
2. Recall information — what BundleProof does and does not promise
This tool helps organize recall information and product records. Recall matches may be incomplete or approximate. Always verify product model numbers, date codes, lot numbers, and recall details using the official recall source. BundleProof does not guarantee that all recalls or hazards will be detected.
Here is what that means in practice. BundleProof re-checks your saved products against the recall notices it has recorded, automatically once a day and whenever you run a check yourself. The catalog behind those checks is reviewed and recorded by hand, so it does not contain every recall. Matching works from the details you entered, so an incomplete or mistyped model number can change the result.
What BundleProof shows you is a possible match, for you to confirm against the official notice. It is not a determination that your product is or is not affected, and it is not a statement that a product is safe.
Specifically, BundleProof does not guarantee that every recall will be detected, does not verify the identity of your physical product, and does not replace manufacturers, retailers, or government agencies as the authoritative source. BundleProof does not provide professional safety, medical, or legal advice. The absence of an alert or a match does not mean a product has not been recalled. During beta, BundleProof does not send recall alerts at all — possible matches appear in the app for you to review.
Please continue to register your products with their manufacturers and follow official manufacturer and government safety instructions. Use BundleProof as a way to keep your product details organized and to help you notice something worth checking, not as your only source of safety information.
3. Beta status
You are using a testing-stage product. You may encounter errors, incomplete features, inaccurate results, and interruptions. Features may change or be removed between one visit and the next, and data you enter during beta may be affected by changes to how the service works.
Beta access is offered at our discretion and may be limited, paused, or ended. BundleProof is free during beta; we do not charge for it and there is no paid plan, subscription, or usage limit today. If that ever changes, we will say so before it applies to you.
4. Your account
You need an account to use BundleProof. You are responsible for the information you provide being accurate, for keeping your password and your access to your account secure, and for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@bundleproofapp.com if you believe someone else has access to it.
You must be old enough to enter into these terms — at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live. BundleProof is a tool for parents and caregivers. It is not directed to children and is not intended for children to use.
5. Sharing a household
You can invite another adult — a partner or co-caregiver — to share your household. Doing so is your decision, and it gives that person access to the products and recall information in that household. An invitation link is single-use, expires, and can be cancelled before it is used.
The person who created the household remains its owner and can remove a member at any time, which ends that person's access to the household immediately. Someone you invite can manage products but cannot manage household membership. Only invite people you intend to share this information with.
6. Your information stays yours
The product records, notes, and other information you enter or import remain yours. You give us permission to store, process, display, copy, and back up that information for one purpose: operating BundleProof for you — keeping your records, running recall checks against them, showing you the results, and supporting and improving how the service does those things.
That permission lasts while your account exists and for the short period it takes to remove your data after you ask us to delete it. It does not extend to anything unrelated to running the service, and it does not transfer ownership of your information to us. What we collect and how we handle it is described in the Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for the information you put into BundleProof — including that you are entitled to enter it. If you import a gift registry or paste text from a retailer, it may contain other people's information; BundleProof discards the parts it does not need, but please do not import information you should not be sharing.
7. Feedback
We would like to hear from you, and beta testers send us a lot of useful ideas. If you voluntarily send us feedback, suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests, you allow us to use them to operate, improve, and develop BundleProof without any obligation to you — no confidentiality, no compensation, and no ownership stake in BundleProof.
This covers the feedback itself. It does not give us rights to your unrelated work, inventions, or intellectual property, and it does not apply to the product records in your account, which are covered by the section above.
8. BundleProof's rights in the service
BundleProof and everything we provide to deliver it — the software, the interfaces and screens, the BundleProof name and branding, the designs and illustrations, the documentation, the recall catalog we assemble and curate, and the systems and methods behind them — belong to us or to our licensors, and are protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms transfers any of it to you.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use BundleProof for your own family's household purposes, in the way the service is designed to be used, for as long as your account is active. That is the only right you receive.
Recall notices and other official source material remain the work of the agencies and companies that publish them. BundleProof records and organizes that material; it does not claim ownership of it.
9. Things you agree not to do
You agree not to:
- copy, reproduce, or create a competing or derivative service from BundleProof, or redistribute, publish, sell, license, or otherwise make its software, designs, branding, documentation, or curated recall catalog available to others;
- use BundleProof, or anything obtained from it, for commercial exploitation outside your own household's use, including reselling access or systematically extracting its content;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service, or attempt to derive its source code or underlying systems, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits it despite this restriction;
- circumvent, disable, probe, or test any security, access control, authentication, or usage limit, or access another user's account or household data;
- interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure, including by scraping at scale, overloading it, introducing malicious code, or automating access in ways the service does not offer;
- misrepresent who you are, use the service unlawfully, or use it in a way that infringes someone else's rights.
10. Suspension and ending your account
You can stop using BundleProof at any time, and you can delete your account and its data yourself from the Account page while signed in. If you cannot sign in, email support@bundleproofapp.com from your account's email address and we will do it for you. The Privacy Policy explains exactly what is removed, including what happens to a household you share with somebody else.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if we reasonably believe your use puts other users, the service, or anyone's safety at risk, or if we stop offering the beta. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to retrieve your information.
Sections that by their nature should outlive the account — our rights in the service, feedback, the disclaimers and liability limits, and this paragraph — continue to apply after it ends.
11. Disclaimers
BundleProof is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that the recall information it shows will be complete, current, or accurate.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. Where that is the case, this section applies only as far as the law allows, and you keep the rights your local law gives you.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of BundleProof — including any decision made or not made because of information the service did or did not show you.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to BundleProof is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim (during beta, that amount is zero) or US$100.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that applicable law does not permit us to exclude. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, and where that is the case they apply to you only as far as the law allows.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as BundleProof changes. Each version carries an effective date and a version identifier at the top of this page. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to let testers know — and if a change requires it, we may ask you to accept the updated terms. Continuing to use BundleProof after an update means you accept the current version.
14. Who operates BundleProof
BundleProof is an independent, early-stage product operated by its founder. You can reach us about anything in these terms at support@bundleproofapp.com.
BundleProof's operating legal entity is not yet finalized. When it is, these terms will be updated to identify it and to state the governing law and the place where disputes are resolved. Until then, no company name is stated here, and your rights under the law that applies where you live are unaffected.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our not enforcing a term right away does not waive it. These terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us about BundleProof.
